Best Work From Home Jobs If one of your resolutions in 2017 is to look for a new job or rethink your career path, you might want to research the companies on this listâ€"especially if you want to work from home or gain a little bit more flexibility. FlexJobs, a job search site that specializes in telecommuting or freelance positions, just released its annual list of top 100 companies for remote jobs this year. Analysts looked at the site’s database of 47,000 companies to see which businesses posted the most telecommuting job opportunities in 2016. The positions included both 100 percent work-from-home jobs and roles that offered optional or part-time telecommuting. From this year’s rankings, the experts at FlexJobs saw that work-from-home jobs are becoming more commonâ€"remote job listings have grown 11 percent from 2015 to 2016, and increased by 52 percent over two years. Factors like technology advancements have made it much easier for more and more people to work from home. Additionally, companies are offering more telecommuting opportunities because they help “reduce costs, improve productivity, increase retention, hire the best talent, and reduce the negative environmental impacts of commuting.” Some companies have been on the annual list before. LiveOps, a call center company is ranked second this year and was number one on the list last year. Amazon is number three on the list in 2017â€"for the second year in a row.
